I started this on site during a recent trip to Gettysburg, and what an honor to set up and paint on such beautiful and hallowed ground.  This was from late afternoon, and for anyone familiar with the battlefield, I was set up under a tree in the little lane next to the Phillip Snyder House on West Confederate Ave, facing North. In the distance is the Sherfy Farm and the infamous Peach Orchard.
